Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information the ClipTanium team processes to operate the website and its Discord-connected campaign tools. This public document explains our practices; it does not display anyone’s private account records.

1. Information we process

Account information includes your Discord ID, username, display name, avatar, ClipTanium role, account status, registration time and privacy preferences. Linked creator accounts include the platform, handle, platform account identifier, verification state and any proof or bio-verification information you provide.

Campaign and submission records include campaign membership, clip URLs, post identifiers, submission and review times, staff decisions, review reasons, ownership checks and recorded view counts. Where public pages or optionally authorized APIs expose them, we also record likes, comments, shares, saves or repost counts. We do not collect individual viewers’ identities through these metric counters.

Financial records include awarded or held earnings, payout requests, payment destination details you provide and payment references recorded by staff. Operational and security records include authentication/session information, audit events, tracking errors and hosting or application logs. If you send staff a privacy or support request, we also process the information needed to answer it.

2. Why we use this information

We use account information to sign you in, associate your submissions with you, verify ownership and enforce account and staff permissions. Campaign and metric records support review, earnings calculation within campaign budgets, performance graphs, duplicate detection, investigation of suspicious activity and payout reconciliation.

We use operational and audit records to protect accounts, troubleshoot failures, preserve review history and investigate disputes. Data is not used to make an automatic allegation that a creator used view bots; unusual metrics are review signals that require evidence and staff judgment.

3. Public tracking, optional authorization and withdrawal

Linking a supported creator username and verifying its bio or staff proof enables periodic reading of public counters for clips you submit. We read the public profile bio to check your temporary ownership code and the public clip publisher to associate the clip with your verified account. Public tracking does not require your platform login or password. You can pause it in Profile & Accounts. Optional platform authorization is also available; the platform displays the requested permissions and handles that login. ClipTanium stores the resulting access and refresh credentials encrypted on the server; these credentials are not returned in dashboard or analytics responses. We do not request your platform password.

When a supported account is verified, public tracking can start after a clip is submitted and continue periodically while that submission is eligible. Public-page availability, platform restrictions, optional API permissions, quotas and hosting affect refresh timing. Missing or inaccessible metrics remain unavailable rather than being fabricated.

Disconnect automatic tracking in Profile & Accounts to pause further automatic public checks for that linked account and remove any local authorization credentials. You may also revoke ClipTanium’s access in the relevant platform’s account settings. Disconnecting does not erase previously recorded submission, review or financial history. Contact staff for a data-deletion request.

4. Who can see information

Your dashboard and aggregate graphs show your own records. Owners, Admins and Moderators have access to the creator identities, submission details, per-reel metrics and review history needed for their staff duties. Payment and account-management operations use their applicable staff permissions.

Campaign leaderboards may show rankings, eligible views, earnings and creator identity to signed-in campaign users. If you hide your leaderboard identity, other clippers see an anonymous identity; authorized staff still see your real account identity for review.

The Terms and Privacy pages are public information documents. They do not grant access to a user directory, private payment records, platform tokens or staff analytics. Private API access is checked on the server.

5. Providers and disclosures

The service uses Discord for sign-in and community/bot functions, Vercel for the web application and Render for backend hosting. Platforms such as TikTok and Instagram/Meta expose public profile and clip information and, where you opt in, authorized account metrics under their own privacy policies. Payment providers process transfers under their own terms; ClipTanium records the information needed to manage the associated payout.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Information may be disclosed when necessary to comply with an applicable legal obligation, resolve a dispute, investigate abuse or protect the service and its users. We do not sell creator personal information or platform authorization credentials.

6. Sessions and cookies

The website uses authentication and session cookies to keep you signed in and help secure the sign-in flow. Third-party sign-in and platform authorization pages can use their own cookies. Removing or blocking required session cookies may prevent account features from working.

7. Retention and security

Account, campaign, metric, review and payment records are retained for operation, review, reconciliation, support and dispute handling. Some audit or financial records may need to be retained after an account or connection is removed because of an outstanding obligation or an applicable legal requirement.

We use access controls, server-side authorization and encryption of stored platform credentials. No system can promise absolute security. Share concerns about account access or an unintended disclosure privately with an Owner or Admin.

8. Access, correction and data deletion

You can request access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, account closure or deletion of data by contacting an Owner or Admin privately in the official ClipTanium Discord community. Identify the Discord account or submission concerned and describe your request. Staff will verify ownership before disclosing or changing private data.

To withdraw platform access immediately, disconnect automatic tracking in Profile & Accounts or revoke permissions in the platform’s own account settings. Staff will explain any data that must remain for an open campaign, completed payment, fraud investigation, dispute or legal obligation. These instructions also apply to requests concerning data obtained through Instagram/Meta or TikTok.

9. Eligibility and policy updates

Use the service only when you meet the eligibility and age requirements of your connected platforms and applicable law. A parent or guardian can contact staff about information relating to a minor.

This policy’s effective date changes when it is updated. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention through the service or official community. If local law provides additional privacy rights, those rights remain applicable.

Contact and privacy requests

Contact an Owner or Admin in the official ClipTanium Discord community connected to your campaign. For account access, correction, deletion or a privacy question, send staff a private request from the Discord account you use with ClipTanium and describe what you need. If you cannot access that account, staff may ask for information to verify ownership before handling the request.

Keep passwords, access tokens and complete payment details out of public channels. Staff will explain any records that must be retained for an outstanding campaign, payment, dispute or legal obligation.
